ABOUT THE EVENT
Co-parenting is a choice parents make to focus on the needs of their children while parenting from separate homes. Even in the best of circumstances, co-parenting can be difficult due to past hurts and different parenting styles. In this four-hour, court-approved parenting class "Two Parents, Two Homes" you will learn to:
- Keep children out of parental conflict
- Clarify parenting responsibilities
- Identify your child's needs during this transition
- Reduce and resolve conflict
- Understand the financial responsibilities in raising children
- Learn skills to improve communication with your children and the other parent
“This project is financially assisted by a generous grant from the Virginia Law Foundation. The Virginia Law Foundation promotes, through philanthropy, the Rule of Law, access to justice, and law-related education.”
