At The Bridge Institute, our mediators work with people at the critical moment when conflict could go either way — toward escalation and crisis, or toward understanding and resolution. At that moment, we don't just solve the immediate problem. We help people build skills and understanding that prevent future crises. Your financial support helps us expand our impact —from family mediation to Co-parenting education, from youth services to pre-eviction mediation — your gift resolves more than disputes; it restores lives. There are many ways to give. OUTRIGHT GIFTS Making an outright gift to The Bridge Institute allows your donation to be used immediately to help us expand our impact. Current gifts include outright gifts (one-time direct asset transfers) and multi-year pledges. Outright gifts include:  Cash or check  Stocks, bonds and mutual funds  Retirement Mandatory Deductions  Donor Advised Funds A multi-year pledge is recurring support that helps sustain The Bridge Institute’s mission. For example, a $30,000 pledge could be paid in increments of $10,000 a year over a 3-year period. If you choose this option, we will help you create a schedule that best suits your needs. Give in Honor or Memory of a Family Member or Friend Tribute and Memorial gifts serve to honor someone in your life, celebrate a birth or remember a loved one who is no longer with you. Simply include a note with your gift providing the name of the person you are recognizing and the name and address of the person you would like us to notify of your gift. No mention of the gift amount will be made. LEAVE A LASTING LEGACY You and your family can build a legacy that reflects your support for healthy relationships. When you include The Bridge Institute in your estate plans you positively impact our efforts to prevent future family crises. For example, after you have provided for your family and loved ones, a bequest in your will enables you to support The Bridge Institute with the amount you choose. Another opportunity is to gift to us your paid-up life insurance policy which allows you to deduct the cash value of the policy at the time of the gift.
